Dangerous offender
Convicted in 2014 of procuring and aggravated assault at the end of his second trial, Evgueni Mataev received in 2016 the label of dangerous offender, reserved for the worst criminals. He has been serving an indefinite sentence.
In January 2018, the PBC refused to release him because of his high level of danger.
