Saint-Jérôme police are asking for the public’s help in trying to find a 52-year-old Asian woman who left the regional hospital early Monday afternoon, when she was scheduled to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
“With the agreement of the family, we are trying to locate Ms. Huizhi Bao quickly because we have fears about her safety and health,” the police department of the city of Saint-Jérôme said in a press release Monday.
Huizhi Bao, 52, was the subject of a temporary custody order for psychiatric evaluation when she left the Saint-Jérôme regional hospital around 2 p.m. Monday.
Dressed in a black and white checkered patterned coat, the woman with shoulder-length straight black hair is said to be wearing prescription glasses, pale pants, and black shoes with white soles.

She would have a slight bald spot on the top of her head, would have no teeth and would speak English with an accent.
“She left without her cell phone, her keys and no identification. His family fears for his safety and that of others. She believes that people might want to harm her. She has orientation problems,” said the police force.

Huizhi Bao normally lives in Ontario, but was found in Saint-Jérôme in recent days, according to police.
Anyone who locates Ms. Bao is asked to call 911 immediately.
