PSV Eindhoven formalizes on Twitter the return of Xavi Simons to PSG

The Dutch club PSV Eindhoven formalized, Sunday July 16 on Twitter, the return of Xavi Simons to PSG. “Xavi Simons left PSV training camp in Austria to transfer to Paris Saint-Germain”wrote the club on the social network.

The young 20-year-old midfielder left the Parisian club free a year ago. Xavi Simons was trained at Barcelona. PSG had managed to steal the young nugget from the Catalan club, when he was 16 years old. Not having enough playing time with PSG, the midfielder decided to leave the capital for PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

Xavier Simons ended the season with impressive statistics. He finished top scorer with 22 goals and 11 assists in all competitions. The story between the young prodigy and the club of the capital was not in fact completely over. There was a PSG buyout clause in his contract with PSV Eindhoven.
