The Paris-SG winter internship, initially scheduled from January 16 to 19 in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, has been postponed “in view of the health situation in France”, announced, Wednesday January 12, the Parisian club. An internship, often very commented on, one month before the knockout stages of the Champions League against Real Madrid (first leg on February 15, return on March 9).
“In view of the health situation in France, Paris Saint-Germain has decided to preserve the health of its staff and its players to postpone the Qatar Winter Tour 2022 and the friendly match in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)“, which was scheduled for Wednesday January 19 against a selection of local players, the club said in a statement.
A tour for the moment postponed and not canceled. Parisians are due to visit Doha for the first time since 2019.
