PSG will announce on Monday, July 8, the signing of Fabrice Abriel as the new coach of the women’s section, France Bleu Paris learned from a source close to the case. The former coach of FC Fleury 91 will therefore succeed Jocelyn Prêcheur. The surprise departure of the latter was revealed in June by France Bleu Paris.
The 45-year-old former midfielder was trained at PSG in the late 1990s, before joining many French clubs such as Amiens, Lorient and Marseille. As a player, he has played more than 500 professional matches. He was the coach of the FC Fleury 91 players for three years.
Jocelyn Prêcheur replaced his father in September 2023 at the head of PSG. In ten months, he had won the Coupe de France, become vice-champion of France in D1 and semi-finalist of the Champions League with PSG.
