The draw, carried out on Sunday January 21, revealed the posters for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. While PSG will host Brest a few days after the championship match between the two teams, two other matches will pit Ligue 1 clubs: Strasbourg will host Le Havre, while Lyon will host Lille. The two teams will meet again after the last edition, where Les Gones eliminated Lille at the same stage in the round of 16 (2-2, 4-2 tab).
OGC Nice will only know its opponent on Wednesday, after the postponed meeting between the National 2 residents of Feignies Aulnoye and Montpellier. In the event of a Hérault victory, Nice-Montpellier would be the fourth duel between elite teams.
FC Rouen, who defeated defending champion Toulouse after a breathtaking penalty shootout, will play AS Monaco. For its part, Sochaux will challenge Stade Rennes, winner on Sunday evening of Marseille, at the end of the suspense. Little Thumb of the competition, Saint-Priest (N3) will host Valenciennes, bottom of Ligue 2. The players from Puy, residents of N2, will cross paths with Laval, who eliminated the finalist of the last edition, Nantes.
