PSG player Elohim Prandi stabbed but out of danger

Paris handball player SG Elohim Prandi, summoned for the preparation of the France team for Euro-2022 (January 13-30), was stabbed on New Year’s Eve but is found out of danger, the club announced on Saturday.

“Elohim Prandi was the victim of a violent assault last night in Paris and suffered several stab wounds. The player is currently under observation in hospital and his condition does not give cause for concern.”, indicates the PSG in a press release. “The Prefecture of Police of Paris is seized of the investigation”, specifies the club of the capital. An investigation was opened on the count of attempted homicide and entrusted to the judicial police, we learned from the Paris prosecutor’s office.

An assault in the 8th arrondissement of Paris

The assault took place Friday evening in a street in the 8th arrondissement of the French capital, said two sources close to the investigation.
