PSG inherits Real Madrid and Lille from Chelsea in the round of 16, after the new draw

After a failure, the draw for the knockout stages of the Champions League was replayed on Monday, December 13 in Nyon (Switzerland). Paris Saint-Germain will finally find Real Madrid and Lille fell against defending champion Chelsea, as in the first draw. It will be the reunion match between Sergio Ramos, the former Merengue captain who left for Paris this summer, Keylor Navas, Angel Di Maria and Achraf Hakimi, former Casa Blanca on one side, and Carlo Ancelotti, on one side, former PSG coach now back on the bench of Real, on the other. And what about the situation of Kylian Mbappé, courted by Real Madrid and at the end of his contract at the end of the season with Paris and who will be free to engage with any team from the month of January.

For Lille, Chelsea were obviously the most complicated option in the draw. The Mastiffs will have a hard time facing an opponent who dominated Europe last season and who did not leave them a good memory in the Champions League.
