Plunged into a coma since May 28 following a riding accident, Sergio Rico sees his condition improve. His wife, Alba Silva, explained to a journalist fromAntenna 3, Monday, June 26, that he “I’m better. He communicates. He calls us by our names, he knows perfectly well who we are.”

The day after PSG’s victory in Strasbourg, which assured the Parisian club of an eleventh title of champion of France in its history, the second goalkeeper of Paris had been the victim of a horse fall in Andalusia. His teammates and the club had him paid tribute during the last Ligue 1 match, during the coronation festivities at the Parc des Princes. Since signing for the Parisian club in 2019, Rico has played 24 games with PSG.
