PSG is canceling its summer tour of around ten days planned in China this year, due to an overly busy international schedule, France Bleu Paris and the Sports Department of Radio France learned from an internal source at club, confirming information from the Team.

Since 2012, the football club has organized a tour in Asia or North America every year, between mid-July and early August, before the resumption of the championship, which brings in several tens of millions of euros.

But this year, the Euro and the Copa America end in mid-July and PSG considered that the match schedule was too busy for its players. This is therefore the first time since 2012, outside the Covid-19 period, that this tour has been canceled. For the moment, PSG is instead planning to stay in France to prepare for its season. But the capital club’s players will still travel to China on August 8 to play the Champions Trophy against Monaco.
