Provencal sites that will receive heritage lottery funds

Among the 100 endangered sites chosen by the Heritage Mission, four are located in Provence and in the Southern Alps. The action led by Stéphane Bern reveals his 2021 vintage. This fourth edition of the Loto du patrimoine allows you to donate € 18.7 million.

In the Bouches-du-Rhône, in La Ciotat, the Bastide Marin will receive 300,000 euros. It is the maximum sum awarded by the Heritage Mission. It should make it possible to renovate this 17th century house, renovate the facades, reinforce the floors and stairs and restore the original decorations.

More than 170,000 euros to restore a dovecote

In the Var, a dovecote will find a second life thanks to the Loto du patrimoine. The Brue-Auriac dovecote will receive 179,000 euros. The old medieval village of Montlaux, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, will receive 50,000 euros.

The heritage can also date from the modern era since the Badin factory in Gap is endowed with 45,000 euros by the Heritage Mission. This former industrial site now hosts a theater and an artists’ residence. It also aspires to host a film library.
