“Proud to be craftsmen” loses the Chamber of Crafts of Isère

From October 1 to October 14, elections to the Chambers of Trades and Crafts (CMA) of France were held. At the end of a poll which mobilized only around 4% of professionals in Isère, the U2P list “The voice of artisans”, union of the organizations CAPEB, CGAD, CNAMS and CNATP*, won the majority to the detriment of “Proud to be craftsmen”, led by the FFB and the CPME**. The next president of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Isère will therefore be Christian Rostaing. Pierre Patroncini, who had agreed to head the list “Proud to be craftsmen” following the sudden death of outgoing president Philippe Tiersen last April, remains a delegate to the Regional Chamber.

Isère shares the national trend but not the regional trend

The victory, in a handkerchief, of U2P in Isère reflects the general tendency of these elections in France where the U2P lists “The voice of the craftsmen” win 9 regions out of 12. On the contrary “Proud to be craftsmen” remains the majority in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. His lists won the ballots in Ain, Allier, Cantal, Drôme, Loire, Haute-Loire and Rhône, that is to say in 7 departments out of 12. Vincent Gaud, elected from Ain, should succeed next November 4 to Serge Vidal.
