After the aggression of Yvan Colonna, the demonstrations continue in Corsica, where the participants wonder how the attack could have occurred in prison. Monday, March 14, after a night of riots, the damage is visible in the streets.

Monday March 14, the damage linked to the demonstrations asking for light on the aggression of Yvan Colonna, was visible in the streets of Bastia (Haute-Corse). Tags, burnt-out cars and broken windows are forcing traders to repair. “I am a merchant in Bastia, it hurts, we suffer a little bit“, declares a man. “Burn everything and break everything, it’s lamentable“, adds a woman, who nevertheless claims to understand some of the demands of young people.

Sunday March 13, a march in support of Yvan Colonna took place, without clashes, in Bastia (Haute-Corse), before degenerating in the evening. “The windows were ripped open, the metal curtains were raised and incendiary devices were thrown“, notes Ludovic Robert, departmental director of public finances for Haute-Corse, whose center was attacked overnight.
