Anne-Marie Edward, Annie Turcotte, Maud Haviernick… these names perhaps no longer mean anything to you, while that of Marc Lépine still resonates. The list is long: on December 6, 1989, fourteen women lost their lives during a massacre at the École Polytechnique in Montreal, the first of this magnitude in North America. It is through the documentary theater piece “Projet Polytechnique” that Jean-Marc Dalphond and Marie-Joanne Boucher address these feminicides, in addition to violence against women. A project bringing hope, presented at TNM from November 14 to December 13, 2023.
