At the edge of Lac des Deux Montagnes, the construction of a higher dyke will protect an entire district of Sainte-Marthe against a millennial flood. The solutions must be adapted to the physical conditions of the site to be protected and take into account the value of the properties and the recurrence of flooding at this location.
