After harvest, the wheat is cleaned and sorted, then stored in a grain bin. Just before going over the grinding stone, it goes through a cleaning brush again. The flour is made a few days before being used to make bread. No added preservatives or gluten is necessary!

Sale at the Farm on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Every week “we make and market our peasant breads in Hirtzbach“.

The sale is also made every Saturday morning at the Terroir du Sundgau producers’ market in Altkirch.

Farm produce: Peasant breads, eggs, potatoes, seasonal vegetables, honey, boxes of veal or beef.

Als Milchviehhalter und Getreideproduzenten ist die Brotwerkstatt ein fester Bestandteil ihres Betriebs. Im Jahr 2020 haben sie eine Mühle gekauft: “Wir nutzen unsere eigene Weizenernte, um das Mehl für das Brot zu produzieren”.
