Located in the Haut-Rhin at 16km from Colmar, between Neuf-Brisach and Ensisheim, La Cabane à Farine specializes in growing and processing soft wheat, durum wheat and spelled flour in Haut-Rhinis located at 16km from Colmar, between Neuf-Brisach and Ensisheim.

On their La Cabane à Farine farm, the Grass family from Dessenheim has been growing wheat, spelled, soybeans and corn for several generations, following a responsible approach that respects nature, the environment and good agricultural practices.

Over the years, the soft wheat cultivation has become a real passion for the Grass family, which decided to diversify to offer, in 2011, flour and, in 2014, house specialties “to cook like pasta“. These house specialties are made from flour ground on grinding stone.

Always keen to evolve, the Grass family of durum wheat since 2016 in order to offer egg pasta in partnership with an organic poultry farmer in the region.

Opening time :

  • Friday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  • Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
