It’s about a Inter-departmental event Tarn-et-Garonne / Haute-Garonne. Significant road traffic disruptions are expected in and around Montauban.
The FDSEA against the “environmentalist diktat”
The agricultural unions FDSEA and JA denounce the “continual pressure from environmentalists“in addition to the regulations which are accumulating and would lead to significant production losses. Haute-Garonne farmers will gather upstream in Capens, Pins justaret, Villefranche-de-Lauragais stadium at 8:30 am and Ondes roundabout at 9:00 am , with a meeting point on the Frontonnais area at 9:30 am, on the A62.
the meeting in Montauban is given at 10am, on the southern entrances of the city. They plan to block the Bressols toll, the Albasud and Aussonne roundabouts, as well as on the Castelsarrasin road, the D958 at the Bexianis roundabout in Montbeton.

The prefect of Tarn-et-Garonne advises users to postpone their trips, to favor teleworking and to avoid, as far as possible, going to the city center. Farmers have planned to return to town, probably near the prefecture around 1 p.m..

School and prefecture closures
Some educational institutions de Montauban will be closed this Wednesday. This is the case of the Pierre Gamarra school, the Center school, the Alexandre 1er school, the family institute, the Notre-Dame school and the St-Théodard school. Parents are invited to contact the school director to find out what arrangements have been made.
The prefecture and the departmental direction of the territories will also be exceptionally closed to the public.
