Leaflets bearing the effigy of the polemicist were plastered on the front door and its facade. At the same time, garbage bags were left at the foot of his home.

The ecologist, absent at the time of the facts, was quick to react and filed a complaint at the La Rochelle police station. At the same time, the Lille parliamentary office of the Insoumis deputy Adrien Quatennens was also the target of leaflets presenting the face of the polemicist.
