On Sunday evening, October 29, in a town in Dagestan, dozens of men invaded the international airport to chase away Israelis who were arriving on a plane from Tel Aviv.
Hundreds of men storm the runway of an airport in southern Russia in search of Jewish or Israeli passengers. In front of them, panicked passengers. It all started on Sunday, when a plane from Tel Aviv (Israel) landed. In videos shot by the rioters themselves, a few hundred men gather in front of Makhachkala airport. They inspect the vehicles. “We check the cars, we stop them, we ask for passports and documents“, said a rioter.
The fate of the passengers is unclear
Then, displaying Palestinian flags and shouting “Allahu Akbar”, the rioters finally entered the terminal. They then begin a hunt, searching every corner. They invade the tarmac, climb on the wings of planes to see who is inside. A little further on, a man spots a bus aside, and utters these chilling words: “This is the Jewish bus, this is where they are all!”
Faced with the rioters, to defend themselves, these passengers brandished their Russian passports. After several hours, the police intervened. Detonations ring out. Police officers and rioters were reportedly injured. The fate of the passengers is unclear. A criminal investigation was opened, around sixty people were arrested.
