Considered one of the most dangerous prisoners in France, Christophe Khider, a robber known for his escape attempts, has just been granted permission to pass his driving test.

Christophe Khider will cross the prison gates completely legally. Author of several spectacular escape attempts, he obtained permission to go out, the time to pass his license. Aged 53, the prisoner is nevertheless classified as particularly reported, convicted of a robbery and a murder, but also for an escape and several attempts. He will not be released until 2044.

This permission granted by the courts has aroused the anger of the supervisors’ unions, who denounce a “completely incomprehensible and absurd decision”because the prisoner will go out alone for his driving lessons. With an attempted escape by helicopter and an escape using explosives from prison, Christophe Khider has left his mark on the criminal underworld. He had been granted an initial leave three months earlier before being cancelled after the escape of Mohamed Amra and the death of two prison officers.
