The Norwegian royal family were in their thirties Thursday night! On October 28, 2021 at the Royal Palace in Oslo, the official dinner for the representatives of the Parliament was held. As per protocol, the royals and their guests joined the reception hall alone or in pairs, parading past guards and photographers in order of importance. After the reigning couple, Prince Haakon and his wife formed a happy trio with Princess Astrid (89 years old, the big sister of King Harald).
For this new official evening, Princess Mette-Marit (48) brought out her white Emilio Pucci dress, which she had already worn in 2012 for the jubilee celebrating the 40th birthday of Queen Margrethe of Denmark. Thursday evening, Princess Mette-Marit accessorized her outfit with the diamond tiara andmethysts that she wears regularly for this kind of occasion. A tiara that is part of an adornment with earrings and a brooch worn as a necklace. The mother of Princess Ingrid and Prince Sverre (17 and 15), but also of Marius (24, born from a first marriage), was not the only one to be so dressed: Queen Sonja wore as for she has her diamond tiara inherited from Queen Josefina, while her sister-in-law Princess Astrid wore the Vasa Tiara, one of her favorites.
