Princess Kate shares a photo of her daughter Charlotte for her 9th birthday

The Princess of Wales, suffering from cancer, maintained the tradition by sharing a photo of her daughter Charlotte on social networks, Thursday May 2. “Happy 9th birthday Princess Charlotte!”, we can read alongside the photo posted on the official account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and attributed to Kate. The 42-year-old princess, wife of Prince William, is known for taking photos of her children for their birthdays. She had similarly released a photo of Prince Louis for his sixth birthday on April 23.

These two photos were published a few weeks after the princess announced that she was suffering from cancer. She explained this on March 22 in a video adding that she was undergoing chemotherapy. She did not specify what type of cancer she suffered from. She has not been seen in public since Christmas, apart from this brief video where she was alone in front of the camera, sitting on a bench in a rural setting.

In March, a photo of Kate and her three children, published on the couple’s social networks on Mother’s Day, was unpublished by the world’s major news agencies because it had been digitally manipulated.
