He may be the future King of England, but when it comes to taking his daughter to a birthday party, Prince William is a dad (almost) like any other! Rather than entrusting this mission to a driver or a nanny, the Duke of Cambridge drove his daughter, the princess charlotte (6 years old), at a small birthday party organized in an Italian restaurant in London, at the end of February.
On restaurant surveillance video Il Pagliaccio (located in the Fulham district), relayed by the Italian newspaper La Stampa, Prince William can be seen entering the establishment behind his daughter, a birthday present in hand. The little party was organized in honor of one or a classmate of Charlotte, educated – like her brother George (8 years old) – at Thomas’s Battersea School, in south-west London.
The 39-year-old Briton may have played the ordinary dad, but it was still accompanied by three large SUVs and several bodyguards that he dropped off his daughter. Still according to the Italian newspaper, he returned to pick her up a few hours later, this time accompanied by George. No trace, however, of Kate Middleton or the youngest of the siblings, Prince Louis (3 years old).
