Prince Harry certain Charles III’s cancer can reunite royal family

(Washington) Prince Harry said on Friday he was “sure” that the cancer of his father King Charles III will help unite the English royal family, torn apart for several years by tensions and shattering confessions.

The prince, who has lived in California since 2020 with his wife Meghan Markle, flew to London at the beginning of February to visit King Charles, less than 24 hours after the announcement of the cancer from which the monarch was suffering.

“I jumped on a plane and went to see him as soon as I could,” Harry told US television channel ABC.

Asked about the possibility of family reconciliation thanks to this new situation, the 39-year-old prince replied: “Yes, I’m sure of it.”

” I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on the plane and see him and spend time with him, I’m grateful for that,” he said.

While he is now focusing on his “own family”, he said he has other trips planned which will take him “through the UK”. “I will see my family as much as I can,” he promised.

His return to London had raised questions and speculation about a possible reconciliation, or at least a meeting, with his older brother William, with whom relations have been broken since Harry’s repeated public attacks against him and the royal family. But the meeting did not take place.

In his autobiography, The SpareHarry is particularly critical of his eldest, whom he describes as angry, and recounts his pain at having been his “shadow, [sa] lining, [son] plan B” all his life. It also implies that William did not marry his wife Kate for love.

As during his whirlwind visit for Charles’ coronation in May, Prince Harry came alone, without his wife Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
