Tuesday June 6 took place the first day of hearing of prince Harry in the trial which opposes him to the tabloid the Daily Mirror. The member of the royal family has started a real crusade against the British scandal press.

Without a word or a look at the journalists, Prince Harry leaves the High Court in London (United Kingdom) after his first day of hearing, Tuesday, June 6. He will have spent six hours at the helm in an exceptional trial, the first part of his legal battle against the British tabloids which he accuses of having hacked into private messaging services to obtain information. In the witness box, he recounts his distress. “Every article made me suffer”he said.

Two more trials to come?

Harry grew up under the eye of the press, on every vacation, on every family trip and unleashed the scandalous press from the end of his adolescence, as in 2005, when he appeared on the front page of the Sun disguised as a Nazi. At the heart of this case is Diana’s shadow, her difficult relationship with the paparazzi and the fear of history repeating itself with Meghan. At the bar, he explained himself on the written testimony he gave to the judge: “How much more blood will stain their hand before someone stops this madness?” This crusade against the media divides, while his hearing will continue tomorrow and the trial against the Daily Mirror will last seven weeks. He said he had The Sun and the Daily Mail in his sights.
