The four episodes of the series For one night onlywhose production has just been completed, were filmed in Quebec in locations chosen by each of the comedians, who share the stage with the colleagues of their choice.

This is how we meet at the Montreal Science Center with Rachid Badouri, for an evening around love and marriage, at the Coconut Bar in Trois-Rivières, with Dominic Paquet, or even at the Center Cultural Morrin of Quebec, with PA Méthot and his mystery guests. Mariana Mazza got into a ring at Les Foufounes Electriques in Montreal, where she took the opportunity to do a few stunts.

“After almost two years of the pandemic, we wanted to create something unique. With For one night only, we wanted to revive this feeling of attending a live comedy show. Not only did the artists choose the comedians with whom to live their personalized evening, but they selected the place that best suited their style. The result is an eclectic comedy tour of the province,” said Patrick Rozon, vice-president of francophone content for Groupe Juste pour rire and executive producer.

Since 2015, Amazon Studios has produced more than 25 series and films in Canada, including LOL: Who will have the last laugh?a reality competition hosted by Patrick Huard which should arrive on Prime Video by the end of the year.
