Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen gave a speech in Parliament on Wednesday, May 31, the entire first part of which was written by the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT, reports TV 2 NEWS (in Danish). Its goal: to highlight the revolutionary, but also risky, aspect of this technology. ChatGPT is one of the latest examples of the impressive capabilities of AI, which also raises a number of concerns about the abuses the technology allows.
“What I just read is not mine. Or any other human being”suddenly explained to the deputies Mette Frederiksen after his introduction during a speech of political assessment on the occasion of the closing of the parliamentary session. “While he hasn’t always hit the nail on the head, both in the details of the government’s work program and the punctuation (…) what (ChatGPT) is capable of is both fascinating and terrifying”underlined the leader.
The subject is on the menu of a high-level meeting on trade between the United States and the European Union this Wednesday in Luleå, Sweden. A group of business leaders and experts, including Sam Altman, the creator of ChatGPT, warned on Tuesday against threats of“extinction” for humanity posed by the development of this technology.
