Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne invites unions to Matignon on May 16 and 17

This is the meaning of the invitation launched by Elisabeth Borne to the unions, for mid-May: the Prime Minister invites the main organizations to Matignon on Tuesday May 16 and Wednesday May 17, learned France Télévisions Friday May 5, confirming information from BFMTV.

The Prime Minister issued these invitations without “precise agenda”, Matignon told AFP. These meetings with the unions must be held in bilateral format, specify the services of the Prime Minister to France Télévisions. In other words, instead of meeting with all the unions at the same time, the head of government will receive their leaders one-on-one. For the time being, the unions invited to these meetings have not indicated whether they will be present on May 16 and 17.

Wednesday April 5, on the eve of a day of mobilization against the pension reform, Elisabeth Borne had already received the inter-union.
