Prima Facie on Broadway | Jodie Comer leaves the stage due to poor air quality

The forest fires raging in Quebec have repercussions all the way to Broadway. Wednesday, barely ten minutes after the start of the morning performance of the play Prima Faceactress Jodie Comer left the stage because she had difficulty breathing due to poor air quality in New York City.

According to testimonials from viewers collected by the site Deadline, the actress known for her character as a serial killer in the show Killing Eve would have coughed before declaring that she could not breathe this air. The one who plays the only role in the play, that of a lawyer who defends people accused of sexual assault, was then escorted backstage.

After a break of a few minutes, her replacement, Dani Arlington, took over, causing some disappointment in the audience.

Jodie Comer has been performing this 100-minute Broadway play since last April. The previous year, she had presented Prima Face on the American West Coast.
