Benyamin Netanyahu sees the pressure increasing on him. He is playing for his political survival, while some of his ministers have threatened to resign if a ceasefire agreement can be reached with Hamas.
120,000 Israelis were in the streets on the evening of Saturday June 1, in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, not to let the hope of peace slip away. A symbolic Statue of Liberty demands immediate agreement for the release of the hostages. A huge banner also begs Joe Biden to save Benjamin Netanyahu’s hostages. Demonstrators who express their confidence in Joe Biden and conversely, all their distrust of their Prime Minister.
The demonstrators have no confidence in the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. They are putting pressure on the Israeli Prime Minister to agree to negotiate. The political crisis is looming.
