Friday, April 22 marks the last trips for the presidential candidates who are trying to convince voters to the end. Marine Le Pen went to Pas-de-Calais while Emmanuel Macron went to Lot.

Marine The Pen and Emmanuel Macron traveled to land that was given to them favorable in the first round, Friday April 22. The objective is to limit the risk of missteps in the final stretch of the campaign. After a visit to a rehabilitation center in Pas-de-Calais, Marine Le Pen treats herself to a selfie session. “This is the last campaign image”she said with a smile. She does not forget to attack her opponent on his personality.

In the Lot, Emmanuel Macron also targets his competitor. “Congratulate yourself on being in a democracy where you can challenge a president in office (…) because with another candidate, it will be another choice”he told the view of a banner hostile to his policy. This is his last walkabout in almost conquered territory. The candidates throw their last strength into the battle, because tonight at midnight, they will no longer have the right to speak.
