While a new study by the UFC-Que Choisir association has scrutinized the labels of more than 240 foods and processed dishes from major brands, it appears that transparency on the origin of products is not always there. -YOU.

The arrival of a new informative visual

UFC-Que Choisir studied the packaging of more than 240 processed meals. The association denounces an opacity regarding the origin of the ingredients. At the top of the list are vegetables and cereals, which have no precise stipulated origin at 84%. In second and third place are poultry (64%) and pork (38%) respectively. The government wishes to correct this lack of transparency by introducing a new origin info visual by this summer. However, it will not be compulsory, to the great dismay of the association.
