Indeed, just after the birth of Adam in 2014, Slimane’s sidekick almost lost her baby, victim of sepsis, a serious infection of the blood.
Interviewed by Paris Match in 2017, she recounted the anguish she had experienced for her second boy, just after giving birth. “I gave birth to Adam, my second son, on the night of October 25, 2014. A beautiful baby weighing 4 kg, with good shoulders. At first glance, we think he is in good health. (…) In the evening, my son is taken away for an hour or two so that I can rest. When I wake up, the doctor tells me that he was infected during childbirth. Adam is breathing too fast and he has a fever over 39 °. “
