(Saint Paul) Roman Josi had four points, Connor Ingram won in his first National Hockey League start and the Nashville Predators ended the Minnesota Wild’s four-game winning streak early in the season with a win of 5-2, Sunday night.
Ryan Johansen scored twice, with the other goals going on Josi, Tanner Jeannot and Filip Forsberg’s records.
Matt Duchene added three assists for the Predators, who have scored nine goals in two games after getting eight in their first four games on the calendar.
The Predators have won eight of their last nine outings against the Wild. In seven of those wins, the Predators have given up two goals or less.
Nick Bjugstad and Nico Sturm scored for the Wild, who hoped to start the season with five straight wins for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
Ingram, a 24-year-old goalkeeper, blocked 33 shots.
