(Prague) Eighth-seeded Marie Bouzkova reached the quarter-finals at the Prague Open with a 6-1, 6-2 win over fellow Czech Dominika Salkova on Wednesday.

Quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, Bouzkova dominated her 18-year-old rival. Salkova had scored her first WTA main draw victory in the first round of the hard court tournament.
In the next round, Bouzkova will cross swords with Oksana Selekhmeteva. The 19-year-old Russian defeated France’s Chloé Paquet 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
China’s Qiang Wang also advanced to the next round with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Dalila Jakupovic. Wang will now face Magda Linette, who beat Viktoriya Tomova 6-3, 6-3.
