Russian President Vladimir Putin is believed to be living in hiding with his mistress in a private palace on the shores of Lake Valdai in the northwest of the country.

Next to this luxurious property, Mr Putin has built a separate villa worth 112 million euros for ex-gymnast Alina Kabayeva, 31 years his junior, it was reported on Thursday The Telegraphciting Russian investigative site Proekt.
The 39-year-old former athlete from Uzbekistan reportedly has four children with the Kremlin master, while both still deny they are a couple, according to the British tabloid.
The construction of the grandiose property had been unveiled in 2021 by the craftsmen of the Russian opponent Alexei Navalny who had argued that the Russian president would have used public funds for this “villa of love”, information corroborated by Proekt.
