In favor of a referendum on pension reform
“It would not harm participatory democracy if we could have a referendum”, said Sunday Olivier Becht, president of the Agir Ensemble group. The retirement age debate “has to take place and has to be decided at some point or another. I’m not sure it’s up to Parliament to do that,” he explains. “It would not harm the participatory democracy that we can have on two major social issues, pensions and the end of life, a referendum”concludes the chosen one.
In an interview with the regional press on Saturday, Emmanuel Macron notably announced that the pension reform would come into force from the summer of 2023.
Potential cohabitation with Jean-Luc Mélenchon: a “catastrophe”
“Cohabitation for five years would be a disaster for the country”launched Olivier Becht on Sunday. “Our country needs stability”adds the president of the Agir Ensemble group in the National Assembly. This member of the majority considers that the exit of the Europe of energies, desired by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, will take France on the “model” of “Ceaușescu’s Romania in the 1970s”.
Entartage of Jean-Michel Blanquer: “Respect is damaged”
“Respect is damaged”, reacted Sunday the deputy Olivier Becht, after the entartage of Jean-Michel Blanquer and the throw of egg on Marine Le Pen this week. “Perpetrators will have to be accountable and explain their actions in court.
