American singer and rapper Post Malone has just put the Bugatti Chiron he bought in 2019 from Quebec collector Olivier Benloulou, owner of the OB Prestige dealership in Gatineau, on sale.
Remember that this all-white Bugatti Chiron, custom-designed for Benloulou, was one of the stars of the Montreal International Auto Show three years ago. The businessman had baptized it “Angel” and expected to resell it to someone extravagant.
That’s what happened with Post Malone. The transaction at the time would have totaled US$3 million.
The car is currently listed on the Dupont Registry site, where interested buyers are invited to call to find out the sale price. Amazingly, it only has 583 miles (938 km) on the odometer. Post Malone hardly used it and obviously preferred to keep it safe with the other cars he owns.
By the way, the wheels on this 1,479 horsepower French bombshell were a $64,000 option and the silver mesh on the grille was $38,200. The brake calipers in black cost a “measly” $6,400, while the Comfort seats went up to $32,000. In all, there are options worth $151,500!
There is no doubt that the Chiron has increased in value in three years, of course helped by the worldwide reputation of the artist.
As for Benloulou, he was recently invited to purchase one of the 599 examples of the new Ferrari Daytona SP3 and he also got his hands on a Rolls-Royce Phantom in February.
