Possible transfer of 300 million euros: the Saudis want Kylian Mbappé

Saudi Arabia have an appetite for big-name soccer players and are now taking on Kylian Mbappée.

Paris Saint-Germain has authorized the Saudi club Al-Hilal to discuss with its star. We are talking about a transfer fee of 300 million euros ($438.8 million CA), according to what Agence France-Presse has learned.

“PSG has given permission to Al-Hilal to negotiate with Kylian Mbappé on the basis of a transfer of 300 million euros,” a source told AFP.

The Riyadh-area club did things the right way by sending a letter to PSG with a firm offer and a request for permission to offer Mbappé a contract. However, he must be interested for the transaction to go ahead.

One more

Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr at the beginning of the year, many renowned players have made the leap to Saudi Arabia.

Last month, Frenchman Karim Benzema left Real Madrid for Al-Ittihad. N’Golo Kanté left Chelsea to join Benzema after signing a four-year contract with Al-Ittihad.

Al-Hillal also hit hard by offering Ruben Neves, just 26, a golden bridge to leave Wolverhampton of the Premier League. Al-Hillal also signed defender Kalidou Koulibaly who was at Chelsea.

Saudi Pro League clubs are not shy about raining dollars on football stars.

Here, in bulk, are a few other names that have recently joined the league. Goalkeeper Édouard Mendy, midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, striker Roberto Firmino, striker Diogo Jota, midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, midfielder Seko Fofana and defender Jason Denayer.

Sale

To return to Kylian Mbappée, it should be mentioned that the interest does not only come from the Arabian Peninsula since many European clubs are also raising their hands after knowing that Mbappé would not participate in the PSG camp in Asia. It is all the more interesting that there is only one season left on his contract.

The towel is burning between Mbappé and the management of PSG because of the last year of his contract. He was ruled out of the trip to Japan and South Korea and he must be content to train with young people in the Paris region.

If Mbappé had to accept an offer from Al-Hillal, it would be quite a slap in the face to PSG, which is owned by the royal family of Qatar, which does not have very good relations with its Saudi neighbor.
