A vehicle may have been the target of gunfire on Sunday morning in the Anjou district.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the service road of Boulevard Louis-H.-La Fontaine, near rue Bombardier.
The driver of the vehicle, aged 54, heard a noise resembling a gunshot before seeing his rear window shatter, said Sabrina Gauthier, spokesperson for the City of Montreal Police Department.
Fortunately, there were no injuries in this incident. The suspect fled in a vehicle before the police arrived.
The scene was protected to allow investigators to analyze it.
