The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reports that the search of the apartment on rue de Salaberry where the suspect was arrested led to the seizure of weapons, ammunition and narcotics.

SPVM investigators have been on the heels of Steve Napoleon since the arrest of Andrews Joseph Ménard on January 22 in a car traveling through the Villeray district. Steve Napoleon would have been in the company of this other 25-year-old suspect.

The SPVM is continuing its investigation into three attempted murders that occurred in Montreal North in the 24 hours preceding the interception of Andrews Joseph Ménard on January 22.
