Things are getting serious at Euro 2024, as the round of 16 draws to a close on Tuesday, July 2. Of the 24 nations involved, there will soon be only eight left in the running for the quarter-finals and four by the end of the week, when they will be played. For Les Bleus, saved by Randal Kolo Muani against Belgium, the meeting is set for Friday, July 5 at 9 p.m., at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, against Portugal, who beat Slovenia in the throes of pain.
Another match – probably the best of these quarter-finals – is the clash between Spain and Germany, Friday July 5 at 6 p.m. in Stuttgart. For its part, England will challenge Switzerland on Saturday July 6 in Düsseldorf, at 6 p.m. Also on Saturday, the last quarter-final will pit the winner of Romania-Netherlands against that of Austria-Turkey at 9 p.m., in Berlin.
