Portishead will sing for Ukraine | The Press

The members of Portishead will be performing for the first time in seven years at a benefit concert for Ukraine on May 2 in their hometown of Bristol.

The group composed of Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley was created in 1991, while their last album dates back to 2008. “We are very happy to be able to support the Ukrainian people by performing some songs as part of this event”, they said in a statement following the announcement of their participation.

Idles, Billy Nomates, Katy J Pearson, Heavy Lungs and Wilderman will also perform during this six-hour benefit concert.
