The Head of State is expected at the Château de Joux in the Doubs, Thursday, April 27, for the 175th anniversary of the abolition of slavery. But before getting there, he made a stop at Dole. A visit to take a new walkabout that was not planned.
Emmanuel Macron made a surprise detour to a market located in Doubs on Thursday April 27. But a few kilometers away, a welcoming committee to the sound of pots is organized, where the president is then expected. In the walkabout, the Head of State is quickly challenged by a former yellow vest: “You’ve been smoking us out for five years”he says.
More vocal protesters
The president is also questioned about inflation and retail margins. “The agri-food scandal, when does it end?”asks a man. “There are people who are not happy, there are people who yell at you, but you can talk and sometimes you can convince, that’s what interests me”declares Emmanuel Macron. He is then expected for the official program at the Château de Joux with more virulent demonstrators.
