The CRS intervened Saturday, February 12 afternoon to put an end to scuffles between pro and anti Eric Zemmour in Saulieu, in Côte-d’Or, before a meeting of the far-right candidate for the presidential election, reports France Burgundy blue.
Some opponents of the arrival of Eric Zemmour positioned themselves near the room where the meeting was to start at 3 p.m. and shouted at his supporters. The CRS intervened after a clash between the two groups and used tear gas on the demonstrators who came to protest against this meeting.
According to the polls, Valérie Pécresse, the candidate Les Républicains, that of the National Rally Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour are in a pocket handkerchief for the accession to the second round against outgoing President Emmanuel Macron, the latter being well ahead of the voting intentions.
