The custody of 38 of the 39 members of the ultra-right, arrested on Saturday February 10 in Paris, has been lifted, indicates the prosecution on Sunday February 11. “As the afternoon progressed, 38 police custody cases were lifted with a decision to dismiss without further action”including that of Gabriel Loustau, a Gud figure, specifies the prosecution.
The only prolonged police custody is that of Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier, 24 years old, former leader of the small group “Zouaves” dissolved in January 2022 by the Council of Ministers. Already convicted and incarcerated in recent years, the ultra-right activist is currently indicted and placed under judicial supervision in the case of the attack on SOS Racisme activists in December 2021 during a meeting of Eric Zemmour, president of the far-right Reconquest movement. As part of this judicial investigation, he is banned from appearing in Paris.

Saturday afternoon, 39 members of the ultra-right movement were arrested at the exit of the Charonne cemetery in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, for “participation in a group with the aim of committing violence or damage”. The people arrested were born between May 1995 and October 2006, according to the prosecution. Among them, around fifteen are listed as S, according to information from franceinfo.
