“The sale, as proposed, will improve Poland’s missile defense capabilities and contribute to Poland’s goals of updating its capabilities as well as furthering interoperability with the United States and other countries. allies,” the agency said in a statement.

Patriot systems are designed to work even against high-speed missiles and aircraft.
