Every week, the podcast “Salut l’info!” tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of radio franceinfo and the magazine Astrapi. The children speak throughout the show: to comment on the news, ask questions, ask for advice or tell jokes. To co-present the episode of the week, “Salut l’info!” welcomes Morgan, 9 years old.

Relative or absolute majority in the National Assembly… expressions that often come up in the news. “What happens when they are elected, what does it change?”asks Morgan. While the second round of the legislative elections takes place this Sunday, July 7, “Salut l’info!” gives explanations to children.

The show also addresses the situation in Sudan, a country in the grip of conflict since 2023. Victims, risk of famine, what is the situation there for the inhabitants? Answers in this episode.

Finally, the show returns to the start of the Tour de France, on June 29 in Florence, Italy. Stages, yellow jersey and solidarity: the show returns to this legendary cycling race.

In this week’s file, it’s time for music… and metal! To talk about it, Agathe d’Astrapi was able to interview one of children’s favorite singers: Aldebert. He has just released a metal album Enfantillages 666.

In our “We tell each other everything” section, Louis calls on us: he’s tired of his little brother making a mess in his room. Don’t panic: with the help of a psychologist, this episode gives him tips to better deal with the situation, with humor and kindness.

Finally, we listen to three jokes from our listeners, left on the show’s answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. This is the number that children, with their parents’ consent, can call us to participate in the Salut l’info Club! This week, Morgan is joining our club. He shares with us his passion for history and his favorite sport, tennis.

Good listening !
