Every week, the “Hi news!” podcast. tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of Franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. The children speak throughout the program: to comment on current events, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell jokes. To co-present this week’s episode, presenter Estelle welcomes Lorraine, almost 9 years old.

Like her, children can participate in our show every week : to apply, simply leave a message on our answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00, specifying the child’s first name, age and parents’ telephone number.

“Eternal” pollutants

This week, the news is first of all news adopted by the deputies. It prohibits the use of polluting substances, PFAS. “What are PFAS?” asks Lorraine into the microphone. Answer in this show.

Also on the program : the fight against cyberbullying ! An important subject to discuss with children. This is why Astrapi magazine (which co-produces this podcast) has just released a booklet to combat online harassment, with the assistance of the Ministry of the Digital Economy. It is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 and can be downloaded from the Bayard Jeunesse website. There is also a free telephone number if you are a victim of harassment: 3018 because it is always essential to talk about it to those around you and not to be alone with your problems.

The microphones of “Hello news!” at the zoo !

It’s the holidays for some of our listeners… The opportunity to “Hello news!” to go and slide your microphones into the Paris zoo, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary on April 13 and 14 (and entry is free for children under 13!). Chloé from franceinfo was able to interview Stéphanie, who takes care of lemurs on a daily basis.

In our “We tell each other everything” section, Margot tells us about a problem : “When I watch a film, then when it’s over, I’m so addicted that I moan”. Do not panic ! With the help of our psychologist Nadège Larcher, the show gives him advice.

No “Hi news!” without the children’s jokes ! We’re listening to three riddles this week, left on the answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. To end this show on a musical note, in the Club Salut l’info!, Lorraine introduces us to Juliette Armanet with a song… fiery.

Good listening !
